Are ink cartridge prices the biggest joke in retail? Anyone know how much these companies make on them? - ink prices
Yesterday bought two cartridges for the HP. $ 82 for black and color together. I am tired of spending money. My friend told me a couple of cartridges from China less than a dollar cost to make and receive an increase of 300%. Is there an end and that no one knows how much it costs companies like HP really do these things and it is for us?

ReplyDeleteThe profit margin is much higher ... These companies make all their money on these expensive cartridges. Therefore, the printers are so cheap now.
I worked for the company to small Automation PLC programming done before I kicked. The company was founded by few individuals who left a large business concerns.
Anyway, they told me all sorts of stories about how it is used for travel, when one of his trip was a long-term investment by Lexmark in Mexico. It is designed, constructed and installed automatic machines for filling and sealing cartridges. He met many people here know (American, was dragged to the place running) and calculates all the costs.
The cost of each cartridge was already at $ 1.00 !!!!!
It was a few years ago, I think he said that around 2000 ... So even if we have tripled their production costs, and then add navigation, etc. .. So for the price today, you know that everyone is a lot cheaper by $ 5 to go on the shelf of a shop. Even if it costs is $ 10 perRape, if you buy one.
